Hey everyone. Well the weather for this upcoming Saturday is looking great for mid January-high if 2 with 15k winds from the west-so if anyone is looking to get out for a few hours I'll be launching from Burlington beach behind the public washrooms/change rooms at 11am and heading up towards Oakville. We'll stop for a quick bite and a hot drink(please bring something)before heading back.If anyone is interested please drop me a line here or e mail me at croneygerald@hotmail.com just incase the weather changes and I can update people.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. The Wind in the Willows

Shit, I just committed to something for Saturday afternoon last night. If I manage to get out of it I'll be there. Will let you know if I am coming along later in the week.

Post Where
by david.donaldson on 01/13/2010 18:01

Gerry, I am definintely in, just not 100% sure where. I know Burlington, launched several times from Bronte, once from Spencer Smith, not sure where Burlington Beach is... I'm guessing that is officially Beach Side park, but that is kinda big. Could you please provide some more details as to location (GPS co-ords?) or we can meet at a local Tims.

See you Saturday

P.S. Talked to Virginia, she is a definite maybe/thinking about it.

Post Launch site

The launch site is located at beachway park on lakeshore. A great landmark is the water treatment plant located on Lakeshore. There are public washrooms open if anyone wishes to change. See you there.

I'm still looking like a NO at this point. Will advise otherwise.
