I just came acrosss this site today and have yet to put it to use yet, but, it does look like it could be imformative and useful to paddlers and /or hikers.

Their are free maps and/or you can use the "create your own" function and they will ship it to you within 24 hours, at a cost.

Looks like it could be a useful, cost saving, site.

I have used the following site to print off lots of topo's over an entire trip area and taped them together to make make trip plan. This way I can have a look at the entire trip, work out where I think I would camp, and also mark on the map possible emergency take out locations. The detail is a little better than on mytopo.com and its free care of the Canadian government! God save the mounties.

James, that site is better. Did not know it was out there. Gotta love our tax dollars at work.
