ROC-M recommendations

The reply button isn't working

I just took a one day course at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto
with a Canadian Power and Sail Squadron (CPS) instructor for the
ROC-M (VHF Radio Restricted Operator Certificate for Marine)

The room was too small, the material OK
and the instructor good. There were 5 sailors,
6 power boaters and me. The cost was $65
for the day course and exam.
(you can buy the book for $25 and do the exam
at CPS headquarters for $30 so ...
$65 including a day's instruction was a good deal)

Some other CPS chapters do it as a two evening course.
