I am proposing an afternoon paddle for Saturday October 9. (thanksgiving weekend) 3:00 departure from the first beach parking lot south of Joseph Brant hospital on Lakeshore Road. If conditions are poor, we can just go out on Burlington Bay from the Canadian Centre for Inland Waters.
Anyone Interested? Bueller, Bueller

Sounds good let's touch base closer to the date for a weather review.

I'd be interested in this paddle weather permitting.

If I can convince my Mom to have Thanksgiving dinner on Monday, I'll be there!

Just an FYI, If the weather is too extreme on the Lake, we can just duck under the skyway and paddle from the Canadian Inland Waterways Centre. Also, Munchies and drinks at Emma's Back Porch afterwards are likely in order.

Weather's looking good, can't wait for a paddle! See you Saturday. Parents are in from UK so probably won't make it to the pub afterwards though.....next time!

paddle.... one blade or two!
Count me in! I just picked up Dympna's carbon fibre Necky yesterday and I am anxious to give it a test paddle. It's a gorgeous day and spending a portion of it on the water sounds like a great plan to me. See y'all soon.

Cry ‘Havoc,’ and let slip the dogs of war;Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
This is getting ridiculous! Can't come after all.
Had to work this a.m. so I couldn't finish the hole diggin' around the house.
Thurs, Friday, Sat. Sunday next I will be at the Georgian Bay Storm Gathering trying not to drown, so I won't get this done then. The chance that I will never return makes me feel that I ought to finish what I started at the front of my house.
Have fun! I am with Alan on this one, though.
