We can't wait to get back in the pool for some more rolling and rescue fun this winter. At learntokayak.ca we pride ourselves on our unique approach to coaching paddlers in mastering the roll. All of our instructors are Paddle Canada instructors who have a particular interest in teaching the skill of rolling. Learn to Kayak is also the host of Canada's largest rolling symposium at Ontario Greenland Camp every September where we bring in the world's leading rolling instructors. Our instructors are trained in how to best present and break down the key skills to rolling in a fun and relaxed approach that will have you right side up in no time!

 

These sessions have a maximum of eight students per session, with a minimum of two instructors. These pool sessions are for every level of paddler. We can take you from your first wet exit, beginner rescues, and beginner rolling instruction right up to advanced rescues and all the advanced Greenland rolls such as layback, forward finishing, and sculling rolls as well as all the bracing techniques. We supply the highest quality sea touring kayaks. We also bring skin-on-frame Greenland style Qajaqs for any Greenland rollers we're teaching who would like to try one. We supply all paddles, either Greenland or Euro blade. We provide all skirts, pumps, paddle floats and pfd's. If you would prefer to learn skills in your own kayak, we encourage you to bring it along.

Use these sessions as you wish. Maybe you just need one or two brush up skills sessions or perhaps you'd like to take your skills right to the top this winter. We're happy to coach you every step of the way! Spend your Saturday nights playing in the pool, what could be more fun than that! ;0)

 

Cost:

$115 per session for 1-2 Sessions
$100 per session for 3-5 Sessions
$90 per session 6+
