OK all you Kayaking fools, we need to plan the date for the December paddle. I am thinking the safest bet is early to allow more opportunity for weather delays. Personally I would like to launch out of Sir Saimir Gzowski Park, that is the park just west of Sunny side, the first parking lot entrance when you take Lakeshore Road Exit from Gardiner East... lots of options, inside hte break wall, out into the lake, up the Humber.
So avoiding Christmas, we are looking at:
Dec 5/6, Dec 12/13 or Dec 19/20. Please reply here which date(s) work for you and we will pic a date (does not mean that we have to only do the one

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. The Wind in the Willows
Bring it on. Will wait to se what others say about dates as my December is filling up FAST. If we do the Sunnyside shore I can do that without a drysuit which for the last couple of days I thought had been lost by USPS or Canada Post, but it has been found sitting on the dock at a USPS depot in Alamosa Colorado. SHould have back by Christmas though, hopefully.

Hey David,
I am definitely interested. My drysuit like Alan's has been away from me for a while, but I am told that it is on its way home. Thank goodness.. It's hard to go back to a wetsuit!!
I will try and think of some places we could paddle and get back to you.!

Turn off your computer and let go paddling.
Hi!
I would be in but we're heading to Nashville today for at least a week and then all of my family is in town for a party Dec 19/20 weekend. How about the week after Christmas, or even Boxing Day morning? We're heading up to the land in Haliburton the week after Christmas...Yes December is a tough one. But January should be okay!
My drysuit blew a neck gasket yesterday and it's heading back to Kokatat so I'm hoping it gets back quick or you guys better have really strong rescue techniques just in case...hope you had good teachers!
