James, I was out for social paddle on Friday, we launched @ Port Credit, I headed out into Lake Ontario and I saw some surf... I turned and chased it and for a brief moment I caught it! Unfortunately, my lower skill level prevented me from getting out my BlackBerry and emailing whilst riding the wave... then I lost it. 
I made several attempts, a couple successful. 
will definitely notify you next time via email.
