Yup! I'll be there! I might actually KNOW a couple of polar bears this year so I really want to be there to support them. Might we puff a few breaths of air into our drysuits again this year and float around in solidarity and frivolity???

I'm in. I'm assuming that an additional piece of mandatory safety equipment will be a Santa hat with a bell on top?
Looking forward to it, thanks for organizing Alan.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. The Wind in the Willows
8 degrees with scattered showers. About as good as it gets this time of year

Winds are picking up for Saturday. Keep an eye here Saturday morning for go-no-go for this paddle.
Go-no-go will be decided at NOON.

Hi Alan
I plan on being there Saturday. if winds kick above 20 knots by 11:00am, I will likely not be there. Will email if no go.

Thanks for the above post siriusb. We will keep an eye on the weather throughout the morning, I will be posting again at noon once I have a birds eye view of the Lake from Bronte Beach.
If the paddle is a GO I urge extreme caution as to what you wear and what you think your abilities may be. We may be challenged with changing conditions this afternoon. Please come prepared with a drysuit or at the very least a thick wetsuit and at least one change of clothing in your boat.

Too far a drive for the high chance of a cancel.
Be safe, it is better to be on land wishing you were on the water than being on the water wishing you were on land.
I hope you have a great paddle, enjoy, I look forward to seeing the pictures

Alan has checked out Bronte Beach and the forecast and has confirmed that the Paddle is a GO for this afternoon.
See you all there.

What Craig said.
We will be keeping a constant eye on conditions as they develop and adjusting length of paddle accordingly.
Conditions at the Beach were calm but foggy and misty.
