Why not join us for the 2nd. Annual (!) Traditional (!!) Canada Day Fireworks paddle on July 1st (weather permitting). Meet at Burlington Beach, near the changehouses, around dusk. Fireworks are usually around 10pm. Cruise out toward the fireworks for an excellent display! Bear in mind, Marine Police are on patrol, so have lots of reflective gear, A LIGHT and no alcohol! What better way to celebrate?!

I was thinking of checking out the Credit River this year, I hear it is good there too... but sounds like there will be good company @ Burlington. Things that make you say hmmmmm.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats. The Wind in the Willows
Hey Carol, don't forget, we (Halton Outdoor Club) have a day paddle scheduled for Jordon Harbour during the day on July 1st. So a day paddle at Jordon Hbr, followed by dinner in Burlington and a leisurely fireworks cruise afterwards!
Hoping I can borrow a boat & gear from either you or Steve for both.....
Cheers

David, don't forget your flowery, frilly frock!
Dorothy, it looks like I will soon have a face to go with the name! Must be "The Dympna Connection", forever known as "TDC". Everyone knows Dympna and sooner or later, everyone who knows her knows one another! Small world indeed. Fun.

assuming the forcast holds true, we (Dolores and I) are in. We will likely be arriving late so please do not wait for us, we will meet you on the water in front of Spencer Smith park.

Hi All,
Well I'm writing to you from Belfast Ireland but I should be home tomorrow at around 6:00 so depending on my jet lag and the flight we just may see you. What better way to celebrate being home?

Hi All.
I am so in for this. I think the idea of fireworks over head sounds awesome!
I am bringing my friend Dympna with me. She's kinda green but I think she will do ok.

Ok guys so I guess you can count us out. Dympna is actually asleep already. Thats what you get when you drive from Belfast to Dublin party, then fly to montreal and on to Toronto. She's all tuckered out!

Yeah, I missed the fireworks paddle and I apologize for not getting a communication out in time.
I am not down for the count and I do look forward to future outings. I hope some of you took some great photos you can send to me at crienzo@sympatico.ca
Cheers!
